So no, this is not MY fetus. But if I had a photo of my fetus, you would hardly be able to tell them apart. I had my first doctor’s appointment yesterday with my new doctor, Dr. England and, as his name would suggest, he was a right lovely chap. He answered all my questions without making me feel totally stupid so right away I was pretty stoked. He also gave me an ultrasound, which I’ve never had this early on in pregnancy. It was really cool. I got to see my little fetus jumping around, kicking, waving to me. And a cuter little fetus I never did see. My due date is April 19. AND my doctor prescribed some anti-nasea medication, that seems to be working even if it does make me even drowsier. Hey- I will take drowsy ANY DAY. So I went in feeling pukey and depressed, and left with a new bounce to my step. Maybe its the drugs. Or maybe I’m just starting to get excited about this new baby. Maybe a little bit of both.
